Librarian Grade S9 responsible for professionally implementing information resources development programmes, administrative and financial management, ICT applications in the library, maintenance and security of information resources, documentation and information management, provision of services and facilities required by library users, and supervision of support staff.
Tasks
Professionally implementing information resources development, encompassing identification, selection, acquisition, reception, and processing.

Carrying out administrative duties, including statistics, disposal of materials, file management, records, stock, inventory, and meetings.
Carrying out financial matters, including applications for allocations and expenditure reporting.
Implementing human resource development through training, competency enhancement, examinations, and assessments.
Implementing ICT applications, including Integrated Library Systems, databases, and digitisation.
Implementing preservation and security of information resources, collections, equipment, and the environment.
