Information Officer Grade S9 responsible for managing press conferences, drafting press statements, briefing notes, and information materials, overseeing publication management, exhibitions, and annual reports and serving as the public relations officer for the ministry/department.

Tasks

Implementing the annual operational expenditure for divisions, states, and districts, and prepare the annual operational budget.

Developing campaign frameworks, networking strategies, and policies related to the dissemination of information regarding national philosophy, policies, and vision.

Ensuring the implementation of programmes and activities at the national, state, divisional, and district levels in accordance with established procedures.

Coordinating and supervise face-to-face communication programmes, public relations activities, print and electronic media engagement, and visual communication initiatives.

Assessing, researching, and developing strategies, programmes, and networking systems for information dissemination, including systematic feedback collection.

Evaluating and planning monitoring and intelligence strategies regarding public opinions and feedback on current issues at all levels.

Conducting staff training programmes based on needs, skills, and current developments to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
