Vocational Training Officer Grade DV13 responsible for planning, developing, and implementing teaching and learning (T&L) tasks related to vocational skills according to training curricula based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) or other relevant standards, encompassing infrastructure development, curriculum development, teaching and learning (T&L), skills development, research and development (R&D), advisory and consultancy services, organisational/institutional management, compliance with procedures, safety and hygiene, and strategic collaboration.

Tasks

Planning, implementing, and endorsing physical development and equipment based on regulations and instructions provided.

Endorsing proposals for training policy papers, training systems, curriculum, teaching staff competency development, and skills training assessment systems.

Reviewing and providing value-added input for the formulation of procedures, methods and guidelines for the Training Assessment System.

Monitoring training assessment programmes for instructors to implement the Competency Assessment System based on Gap Analysis.

Monitoring benchmarking programmes for the assessment system at the international level.

Confirming activities related to advisory and consultancy services, whether with industry or other training providers.

Endorsing, approving, and monitoring the implementation of academic and skills programmes among instructors and staff.

Monitoring the implementation of Training Curriculum Development, Training Quality Control and Certification, as well as Curriculum Development and NOSS or other standards as stipulated.

Endorsing and approving training requirements such as training materials and equipment in accordance with established regulations and procedures.

Endorsing course and curriculum activities for students, training administration matters, information delivery systems, and training promotion and marketing.
