Medical Lecturer Grade DU13P responsible for giving lectures, tutorials, conducting research, producing publications, and medical practitioner.

Tasks

Providing the assigned teaching duties at the undergraduate level and delivers instruction in the area of specialisation at the postgraduate level (a generalist at the undergraduate level and a specialist at the postgraduate level).

Performing teaching duties according to the assigned schedule and workload, including preparation and marking of examination scripts, invigilation, academic advising to students, and carrying out any additional teaching tasks as directed by the Head of Department and/or Centres of Responsibility (PTj). Ensuring that teaching performance achieves at least a score of 4.2 out of 6.0 in student evaluations for each course taught.

Undertaking an active role in all aspects of research, including demonstrating curiosity, identifying problems for investigation, preparing and presenting well-accepted proposals, managing research projects systematically, executing projects, and disseminating results through journal publications, conference presentations, and other appropriate channels.

Providing knowledge and experience for the benefit of society and the nation through consultancy systems, provision of patient care, and performance of other tasks as directed by the Head of Department.

Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) prior to commencing clinical duties at a medical centre or hospital.

Providing support and assistance in implementing established policies and procedures to ensure smooth administration.

Carrying out all administrative tasks related to the courses or programmes conducted.

Performing administrative duties and responsibilities satisfactorily as directed by the University Authority.
