Radiographer Grade U9 responsible for producing medical images to assist specialists and medical officers in diagnosing diseases, evaluating images and radiography produced as well as managing matters related to the application of radiographic examinations, responsible for the maintenance and quality control of equipment used, as well as planning, management, training, and research tasks to enhance and monitor the quality of services provided by Radiographer.
Tasks
Reviewing and examining radiography examination requests and determines the appropriate projections.
Providing clear explanations to patients regarding the examination and required preparations in accordance with established instructions.
Preparing and attending to all requirements and care for patient examinations.
Generating and evaluating images and radiographs, assesses anatomical and structural abnormalities, and recommending additional projections when necessary.
Providing radiation protection to all patients and personnel involved.
Applying basic electronics and physics knowledge in radiography tasks, including troubleshooting equipment prior to reporting malfunctions.
Monitoring and ensuring the maintenance of high-quality radiology service standards.
Preparing educational materials and patient preparations for general and specialised radiography examinations.
Coordinating identified research activities by preparing literature reviews and developing research methodologies and related technical information.
