Dietetics Officer Grade U9 responsible for carrying out tasks related to the management and monitoring of clinical dietetic and community services, planning and providing nutritious and appropriate meals based on the Hospital Diet Manual, giving advice to patients requiring therapeutic diets, and planning and implementing training and research activities related to the field.
Tasks

Supervising food preparation operations to ensure that normal diets, therapeutic diets, or tube feeding provided to patients are correct, according to prescriptions, and meet care quality standards.
Providing training on diet preparation to Cooks, Hostel Supervisors, and Assistant Food Preparation Officers.
Attending to acute patients such as those in intensive care, burn patients, and other critically ill patients who require careful diet/feeding regime monitoring.
Ensuring patients are given diet prescriptions, understanding how to manage their diet, and attending follow-up care if necessary.
Contributing to programmes/activities in health promotion and disease prevention services for hospitals, health clinics, organisations, and the mass media.
Focusing on further developing the clinical dietetic specialty to align with treatment advancements implemented by doctors.
