Medical Rehabilitation Officer Grade U9 responsible for the aspect of patient rehabilitation care in the field of related specialisation and making assessment, planning and management of rehabilitation programmes for patients.

Tasks

Assessing, planning, and providing rehabilitative treatment in the specialised field to patients.

Conducting and analysing diagnostic test results to identify the cause of the problem and the necessary treatment actions.

Determining the type of assistive devices suitable according to patient needs and provides advice on proper use and care of the equipment.

Referring patients requiring surgery or medical management to other professionals.

Maintaining rehabilitation programmes, follow-up treatment, and counselling services.

Planning and managing programmes related to raising awareness, providing information, and conducting research activities.
