Dental Officer Grade UG9 responsible for enhancing the standard of health and quality of life of the community through dental treatment and preventive oral health activities.
Tasks
Responsible to the Senior Assistant Director for the implementation of all clinical activities and dental health promotion in accordance with the policies and objectives of the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
Implementing and ensuring that patients receive quality dental services in accordance with established service policies.
Conducting oral health education activities, including delivering dental talks and organising exhibitions for health promotion.
Performing emergency (on-call) duties after office hours.
Assisting senior dental officers in the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of dental service programmes.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives conducted for clinic dental services, including ISO implementation, innovation projects, and KMK.
Participating in studies related to dental health conducted at the clinic.
Referring complex cases to Dental Specialists for cases requiring specialist treatment.
Skills
Basic
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Specific
Knowledge in statistics.
Skills in information and communication technology (ICT).
