Medical Officer Grade UD9, UD10 responsible for examining and treat patients, managing the treatment and examination of pregnant mothers as well as celebrate the birth of babies, conducting autopsies, preparing reports, carrying out 'on call' duties, and delivering talks.

Tasks

Examining patients, determining diagnoses, and providing treatment with due care.

Providing inpatient care in the ward – conduct daily ward rounds.

Managing new and existing cases in the ward and outpatient clinic on a daily basis.

Updating patient treatment plans daily.

Ensuring that patients admitted to the ward are in an optimum condition.

Performing emergency surgery while on call.

Assisting surgeons in emergency cases and scheduled elective surgical procedures.

Performing minor procedures and minor surgery.

Discussing cases and provides practical training and supervision to house officers posted to the relevant department (particularly for clinical specialists).

Attending and actively participating in training and educational activities conducted at departmental and hospital levels.
