Designer Grade B14 responsible for graphic and multimedia design works, exhibitions, and outdoor publicity for government campaigns in visual and display formats for arts-related works, in an effort to market government information and policies to the public. Responsible for creating designs for presentation and production props. Coordinate, plan, and prepare design of publication materials and FINAS trophies. Responsible for ensuring presentation stages, preparation of guest reception ceremonies, and coordinating promotional materials to states, in magazines, on radio, and at Media Conferences.
Tasks
Leading the division, managing, supervising members and the organization, and controlling and managing the division’s and organization’s annual expenditures.
Managing and overseeing staff service matters and training, and developing and planning strategies, programmes, and division activities in line with departmental goals and objectives.
Planing strategies and providing expert programmes in visual communication according to the department’s target groups, including government and state agencies.
Planning, supervising, procuring, and controlling the annual budget to fully fund the division’s strategies, programmes, and activities.
Ensuring budget procurement and funding are executed effectively and determine systems, methods, policies, and work rules to achieve division objectives.
Providing guidance, mentoring, and direction to division personnel in applying current technology in administration, improving work quality, and using innovative, creative, and effective visual communication.
Planning and implementing government campaign strategies using effective visual communication and evaluate the Annual Performance Reports of division personnel.
Planning and developing departmental syllabus and examination questions for Designer and Photography Officer positions across all grades.
Ensuring all directives and circulars are followed and implemented and acting as the chief expert for art and design works at division/department/ministry/state government level.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Ability to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
