Performing digital GIS data backups and ensuring compliance with ICAO requirements in GIS data usage.
Planning, preparing technical and financial proposals, and managing the implementation of service improvements and system/equipment upgrades in the Cartography Laboratory.
Managing the budget for service delivery, production of MACRES mapping products and publications, and upgrading of systems and equipment in the Cartography Laboratory.
Evaluating current technologies for MACRES mapping product and publication production, and subsequently preparing technical and financial proposals for the adoption of appropriate technologies at MACRES.
Preparing scopes and specifications, and managing the procurement of supplies/services related to the cartography laboratory through direct purchase, quotations, or tenders.
Responsible for the maintenance and procurement of cartographic systems/equipment and shared-use equipment under the management of the cartography laboratory.
Certifying the specifications of MACRES outputs for adoption by other branches.
Managing safety procedures, quality control, copyright, and restricted material usage for MACRES mapping outputs and publications.

Ability to provide professional opinions, advisory services, and present views effectively.
