Tasks

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage infrastructure under the division’s jurisdiction.
Conducting analyses of water usage for irrigation and domestic supply, manages flood control systems, and prepares flood reports.
Responsible for planning and implementing development programmes, including surveys, measurements, planning and design, tender/quotation offerings, tender evaluation, and acting as the supervising officer for contracts/quotations in dam areas.
Providing technical advisory services, and preparing specifications and engineering standards for stakeholders at the project, branch, and departmental levels.
Managing and responsible for the implementation of electrical engineering projects and electrical installations for various ministries and their respective departments.

Basic
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Ability to provide professional opinions, offer advisory services, and present arguments effectively.
Specific
Ability in legal matters as well as general financial and administrative regulations.
Ability to write or prepare high-quality reports.
