Farming, Forestry, Plantation, and Fisheries Advisers study, provide assistance and advice on farm, forestry and fisheries management, including cultivation, fertilisation, harvesting, soil erosion and composition, disease prevention, nutrition, crop rotation and marketing. They develop techniques for increasing productivity, and study and develop plans and policies for land and fisheries management.

Tasks
Planning, coordinating and carrying out all activities and programmes encompassing aspects of research, development, education, management and protection of fisheries resources to develop the country’s fisheries industry.
Offering technical and engineering expertise for such purposes as vessel building and maintenance.
Planning, organising and controlling the forestry activities in line with the regulations and policies of the government.
Keeping abreast of the progress of methods and techniques of farming, forestry and fisheries.
Offering advice on ways of raising quality of output, increasing yield and measures to increase efficiency of operations and to conserve natural assets and the environment.
Visiting farms and advising on measures to deal with problems such as soil erosion or pest infestation.
Collecting data and estimating quantities and costs of materials and labour required for projects.
Organising demonstrations, giving lectures, writing and distributing materials to promote adoption of improved practices and techniques.
Applying knowledge of scientific principles and practices in order to identify and solve problems arising in the course of their work.
Responsible for coordinating all activities related to the park such as education, development, enforcement, ecotourism, maintenance and etc.
Enhancing knowledge and coordinating work performance.
Performing related tasks.
