Oil Mill Manager oversees and directs all operations of an oil mill, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant production. They manage the milling process from raw material intake, such as fresh fruit bunches or palm kernels, to the production of finished products including crude palm oil, crude palm kernel oil, palm kernel, and palm kernel expeller. The role includes supervising machinery maintenance, production scheduling, quality control, inventory, and workforce performance, while promoting a safe, environmentally responsible workplace and reporting operational performance to senior management.

Tasks

Oversee daily operations of the oil mill to ensure efficiency and compliance with operational standards.

Plan, implement, and monitor production plans, schedules, and procedures to meet production targets.

Supervise and coordinate milling staff and technicians, ensuring effective performance and adherence to procedures.

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation and minimise downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturing standards and regulations.

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to support continuous production.

Implement and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for machinery and equipment.

Optimise production processes to improve operational efficiency and output quality.

Monitor production performance and prepare reports for senior management.
