Manufacturing Manager plans, directs, and oversees the production of goods to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations within budget and schedule. They manage production teams, coordinate processes across departments, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, while optimising resources, improving efficiency, and meeting organisational targets in diverse manufacturing environments, including specialised areas such as design, metal heat treatment, and waste-to-energy operations.

Tasks

Organise and supervise manufacturing production to meet output targets and ensure efficient operations.

Lead and manage production teams, including resource allocation, workload monitoring, and staff development.

Plan, implement, and monitor production strategies, policies, and daily operations.

Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections, testing, and corrective actions.

Control production costs, optimise processes, and minimise waste to meet budget requirements.

Enforce workplace safety procedures and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering and logistics, to improve production efficiency.

Oversee specialised manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.

Manage budgets, prepare reports, and monitor operational performance.

Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving measures, and best practices.
