Tasks

Oversee daily aquaculture and fisheries production operations, including hatchery, breeding, farming, and harvesting activities.

Manage production schedules, allocate workforce resources, and supervise staff performance and training.

Monitor aquatic stock health through water quality assessment, disease prevention, and stock evaluation.

Ensure compliance with quality control standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Coordinate supply chain activities, including brood stock sourcing, materials management, inventory, and logistics.

Supervise the operation and maintenance of hatchery, breeding, and production facilities and equipment.

Manage budgets, expenses, and production costs to achieve operational and financial targets.

Develop and implement production plans to maximise efficiency and meet market demand.

Provide training and guidance to staff on standard operating procedures and best practices.

Maintain accurate records of production data, including growth performance, feed usage, and mortality rates.
