The Supply Chain and Logistics Management Manager plans, directs and coordinates end-to-end supply chain and logistics activities to ensure efficient flow of goods from procurement through production, storage and distribution. The role focuses on optimising cost, quality, timeliness and reliability by developing and implementing strategies that improve operational performance, manage risks and align supply chain activities with organisational objectives.

Tasks

Develop and implement supply chain, procurement, and logistics strategies to ensure efficient sourcing, production support, and delivery of goods.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of materials and products.

Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.

Oversee inventory management and demand forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise shortages or overstocking.

Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch of goods.

Analyse supply chain and logistics data to identify process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards related to logistics, transportation, and storage.

Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement, production, sales, and finance, to coordinate supply chain activities.

Manage, supervise, and develop supply chain, logistics, and warehouse personnel to ensure effective operations.

Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and performance indicators to support planning and decision-making.
