General Duty Officers (RMAF) are responsible for planning, training, monitoring and supervising to ensure the sovereignty and security of the countryâ€™s airspace are protected from intrusion by foreign elements.

Tasks

Planning operational assignments at home and abroad.

Ensuring that the airspace is secure and safe from external threats.

Managing the logistics and assets of the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

Developing training systems and human resources in order to integrate man and technology.

Ensuring that RMAF personnel stand ready to face any threats from enemies of the state.

Ensuring that RMAF assets are well maintained and can be deployed at any time.

Planning for and assisting the public authorities in maintaining public order.
