Member of Propulsion Marine Technicians consist of sailors, administrative and Management staff who support the TLDM organization as a whole. Each member plays a role and function based on expertise in their respective field.
Tasks
Helping to protect all national economic activities in the oceans including oil exploration, minerals and fishery resources.
Assist in the enforcement of maritime law in territorial waters and the eez during peacetime and war.
Help control strategic choke points.
Assist in combating piracy and the entry of foreign elements and illegal immigrants.
And deepen knowledge on hydrographic oceanographic measurement to help perform research tasks that cover all aspects of hydrography.
