Bicycle and Related Repairers install, maintain, service and repair mechanical and related equipment of bicycles, trishaws, baby carriages, wheelchairs and similar non-motorised transport.

Tasks

Installing, repairing and replacing equipment or accessories such as handlebars, footrests, lights and seats.

Aligning wheels.

Installing and adjusting speed and gear mechanisms.

Disassembling axle to repair, adjust and replace defective parts using hand tools.

Repairing holes in tyre tubes using scraper and patch.

Shaping replacement parts using bench grinder.

Assembling new bicycles.

Painting bicycle frames using spray gun or brush.

Welding together broken or cracked frames using oxyacetylene torch and welding rods.

Performing related tasks.
