Industrial Relations Assistant Grade S1 responsible for the implementation of labour policies, administration of labour laws and standards, industrial harmony, and trade union affairs, monitoring and enforcing relevant Acts, providing advisory services and labour education to enhance the welfare and interests of the industrial community.

Tasks

Assisting in carrying out statutory inspections, farm inspections, and worker accommodation inspections.

Assisting in receiving, verifying, and recording complaints from clients.

Assisting in reviewing, processing, and conducting investigative visits for labour permit applications.

Assisting in investigating applications and supervises activities related to Private Employment Agencies.

Assisting in implementing programmes organised by the department.

Assisting in managing documentation, records, stores, and assets.

Assisting in managing staff and office operations.
