Assistant Auditor Grade W5 responsible for conducting professional auditing, verifying financial statements, issuing audit certificates and related reports, providing quality, timely and balanced audit reports, managing audit activities efficiently and effectively and providing advisory services, meeting the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
Tasks
Assisting the Head of the Audit Section in the preparation of the Audit Planning Memorandum (APM) and audit programmes for agency management audit projects and activity/performance management audits conducted.
Conducting agency management audits and activity/performance audits in accordance with the established audit plans and programmes.
Preparing working papers for agency management audits and activity/performance audits.
Assisting the Head of the Audit Section in preparing audit observations and audit reports for agency management audits and activity/performance audits.

Basic
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Ability to propose recommendations for improvement to audited agencies.
Ability to provide professional opinions.
Specific
Ability to analyse financial statements and reports.
Ability to understand financial laws and regulations as well as generally accepted accounting and auditing standards.
Broad knowledge in accounting, auditing and financial management procedures.
Skills in computer usage.
