Order To Cash (O2C) Credit Control Specialist manages the end-to-end order to cash process, ensuring accurate order processing, effective credit assessment, timely invoicing, and efficient collection of receivables to optimise cash flow and minimise credit risk. The role involves monitoring customer accounts, enforcing credit policies, reconciling financial records, handling payment discrepancies, and coordinating with sales and finance teams to maintain up-to-date credit limits and resolve collection issues.
Tasks
Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
Generate and issue invoices and credit notes using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting systems, ensuring compliance with sales transactions and company policies.
Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances and implement collection actions to recover outstanding debts.
Reconcile customer accounts, investigate variances, payment discrepancies, and billing issues, and resolve customer queries and billing disputes.
Negotiate suitable payment arrangements with customers where necessary.
Prepare reports on credit exposure, collections status, and accounts receivable performance for management review.
Maintain accurate accounts receivable records, documentation, and related financial information.
Collaborate with internal teams to address order, billing, and credit-related issues and support improvements in order-to-cash processes and systems.
Manage refund processes and liaise with payment service providers when required.
