Urban and Rural Planning Officer Grade J9 coordinating the Urban Structure Plan Study, Safe City Study, Kajian Petunjuk Bandar Sejahtera (MURNInet), research, and other planning studies, implementing e-Pemajuan of the Urban Planning Division, developing a GIS database for planning data, as well as collecting information on planning progress and urban development, controlling development to ensure uniformity, comfort, and safety in land use activities, layout preparation, and design of quality and effective public facilities, and creating a comfortable environment for the community.

Tasks

Assisting to coordinate studies related to Urban Planning, such as the Safe City Implementation Study in Putrajaya.

Assisting to coordinate planning studies and review preparation of policy papers related to urban planning aspects.

Assisting to coordinate preparation of the Urban Structure Plan Study.

Assisting to coordinate collection of development planning information and data, and coordinate planning of public facility development in line with population growth.

Assisting to coordinate public complaints through CRM (Controller) for the Urban Planning Division.

Assisting to coordinate updating of information in the local Corporation Community Portal.

Preparing improvements to the Departmental Manual Prosedur Kerja (MPK) and update the Client Charter Unit.

Preparing the ISO Development Plan for the Urban Planning Department.

Providing planning reviews on studies conducted by Putrajaya Corporation and studies carried out by external agencies such as JPBD Peninsular Malaysia and other local authorities.

Managing the Department Resource Centre and assist to update the unit Annual Work Targets (SKT) for officers.

Updating individual Desk File (FM).

Basic

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Ability to provide professional opinions, advisory services, and present arguments effectively.

Ability to write quality reports.

Specific

Ability in laws related to urban planning, including planning approval processes and consultant appointment procedures.

Ability to conduct planning and development analyses such as site analysis, socio-economic analysis, and SWOT analysis.

Skills in using various software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, GIS, Adobe Photoshop, and Corel Draw.
